Service Description

This course is designed for anyone needing help with their finances, specifically the unemployed job seeker. Our trained professional facilitators will teach on budgeting, building credit, debt management, and the importance of philanthropy. Our Presenters: Alex Gomes: Financial Expert Alexander E. Gomes has worked as a Community Partnership Manager and a Small Business Relationship Manager for Santander Bank for the past 5 years. Gomes has recently been appointed by Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker as the newest member of the Cape Cod Community College Board of Trustees. During his time with Santander Bank, Gomes provided the bank's philanthropy teams with grant recommendations and assisted with pairing services with local non-profit organizations. These services include financial literacy, small business development, and affordable housing workshops for low-to-moderate-income communities across New England. Gomes holds an Associate in Science degree from Bristol Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bridgewater State University. Chantal Joseph Founder/Executive Director Chantal Joseph is the Founder and Executive Director of The Giving Grace Foundation. She is a dynamic musician, teaching artist, and business entrepreneur residing in Pittsburgh, PA. Chantal, a Massachusetts native, studied music business at Boston's Northeastern University. She is a music instructor at the Afro-American Music Institute in Homewood, PA and also works in the Pittsburgh education system with the Cultural Trust. Her experience ranges from educational program development, studio recordings, songwriting, vocal coaching and more. Though versatile in her craft, she is also passionate about community outreach and giving back. Chantal’s motivation lies in spreading positivity, inspiration, and empowerment to young and old alike.
